Penguins’ fans generally still confident about the direction of the team

A recent poll of Pensburgh readers show most are keeping the faith about how the Pens’ are headed

The latest results of our fan pulse are out, and I have to be honest, I’m a bit surprised that even in the midst of a six-game losing streak that 95% of Penguins’ fans are retaining their confidence.

The late January poll was 100% confident in the direction of the team, followed by a drop to 98% on February 12th and now 95% in the grips of one of the team’s longest losing streaks in years.

Luckily, the team had a really strong middle-of-the-season run to push their probability of making the playoffs far enough to with-stand a losing streak like that. Perhaps it’s that comfort of the standings, or the fact that reinforcements are right on the horizon, but 95% is a big, strong number. In a reactionary internet, that’s impressive, so give yourselves a hand for staying the course!
