Here are some Pens Points after Game 1 of the Penguins’ season...

The Penguins and Flyers met last night to kick off the 2021 NHL season. After a long and strange road to get here, both Pittsburgh and Philadelphia began the campaign with a back-and-forth affair. Power-play goals and a lack of defense proved to be themes of the night, but the third period proved to be the decisive frame for the Flyers, as the Broad Street Bullies scored twice to take the game by a score of 6-3.
