The Penguins announced a number of roster moves on Saturday morning that the team has reduced its training camp roster to 35 players.
This comes following the team’s 2-1 preseason win on Friday night over the Buffalo Sabres.
The following players have been assigned to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton’s training camp in the AHL:
- Jordy Bellerive
- Jonathan Gruden
- Valtteri Puustinen
- Felix Robert
- Niclas Almari
- Taylor Fedun
- Cam Lee
- Will Reilly
- Mitch Reinke
- Filip Lindberg
In addition to these moves, defenseman Matt Bartkowski has been released from his professional tryout contract and Raivis Ansons has been returned to his junior team in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
The team’s next preseason game will be played tomorrow afternoon when the Detroit Red Wings come to town.
Puck drop is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. at PPG Paints Arena.
