Both games set to be played between the Penguins and Devils this week have been postponed.

The two teams were set to play on Tuesday and Thursday at PPG Paints Arena.

The NHL announced Monday afternoon that the Devils’ games will be postponed through at least February 6.

The Devils now have ten players on the NHL’s COVID protocol list.

It’s unclear when the games will be made up.

The Penguins are still in New York, as they will take on the Rangers tonight at Madison Square Garden for the second time in three days.

Rangers forward Kaapo Kakko was also added to the NHL’s COVID protocol list, ruling him out for tonight’s game.

With the Penguins having played the Rangers two days ago and again tonight, any other additions to the COVID protocol for the Penguins will be something to keep an eye on.

Puck drop tonight is set for 7:00 p.m.

After tonight’s game, the Penguins will be looking at having an unexpected four days off with their next game set for Saturday night when they take on the New York Islanders.
