After being sent back to Pittsburgh after falling victim to an awkward injury on Tuesday night, Sullivan said Thursday afternoon that Zucker will be out of the lineup on a longer-term basis with an undisclosed lower body injury.
Hoping for the best for Jason Zucker. He was injured on an awkward play at the boards, he was helped off pic.twitter.com/F5XX8HHSHq

Given the fact that he needed to be helped off of the ice and was sent back to Pittsburgh, this time frame doesn’t exactly come as a surprise to me.
What “longer-term” means could be a number of things. We could be talking a few weeks or longer.
Sullivan also provided an update on Jared McCann. McCann will not play against the Capitals tonight, but he is back to full contact level in practice.
