Another Penguins player has been added to the NHL’s COVID-19 protocol list.
Penguins coach Mike Sullivan said before Saturday’s game against the Flyers that Sceviour would appear on the list when it updates each day.
Coach Sullivan said Colton Sceviour will appear on the COVID Protocol Related Absences list this afternoon and he will not play today.

It’s unclear whether Sceviour’s addition to the list is due to testing positive for COVID-19 or being a close contact/part of contact tracing efforts.
It’s also unclear when Sceviour may come off of the list, provided that he was not a positive test or is not showing any symptoms himself.
Earlier this week, Sidney Crosby was added to the league’s protocol list, causing him to miss Tuesday’s game against the Philadelphia Flyers. After sitting that game out, Crosby was cleared to be removed from the list and came back to play against the Flyers on Thursday night.
The Penguins are set to face the New York Rangers tonight at 7:30 at PPG Paints Arena. Any lineup decisions the Penguins will make have yet to. be announced.
